Stage 1 - Assessing Goals & Objectives
The main goal and objective behind this project was to create a brochure that not only clearly guides the user to ceramic studios in San Diego but to create a visually intriguing booklet that represents the theme of ceramics. Bailey strove for an organic, earthy and rustic feel to her guide so she could capture the sense of San Diego aesthetics.

Bailey experimented with a variety of text options between light and bold weighted san serifs and serifs she found that the top option Bernard MT Condensed best captured a rustic, organic, neutral and San Diegan Pottery themed guide.
Stage 4 - Digital Translations
Bailey utilizes a variety of visual elements within her thumbnail sketches to grasp a conceptual approach that both fits the aesthetic and theme of the project. She specifically utilizes visuals that consist of mud, clay, pots, ceramic tools and splashes of liquid clay.
